“You can’t have peace if you’re starving. You can’t have security if you’re hungry. Ending hunger is the first step to building a stable world.”
- David Beasley, Former Executive Director of World Food Programme
World Hunger is Out of Control
In 74 Countries across the globe, 343 Million people are facing acute hunger and 65% are people in fragile or conflict-hit countries.
A Solution for Humanity
Launched by #1 New York Times bestselling author and renowned life and business strategist Tony Robbins, and then-head of the World Food Programme David Beasley, the goal of the 100 Billion Meals Challenge is to provide 100 billion meals over 10 years.
Global hunger has risen sharply in recent years, with acute hunger surging to over 730 million people following the pandemic. Additionally, over 30 million people are on the brink of famine. The 100 Billion Meals Challenge is a unifying movement to amplify and facilitate initiatives to support the people and organizations working to alleviate hunger and improve food systems.
“The incredible work of the 100 Billion Meals Challenge is transforming how we combat global hunger,” said Tony Robbins. “By uniting experienced nonprofits, influential businesses, and generous individual donors, we are demonstrating that collaboration is the key to achieving extraordinary worldwide impact.”
